In the process of the Elements and Principles Accordion book project, I have learned and understood the elements and principles better. I also now know how to create an accordion book. The most enjoyable and interesting part of this project was when we was able to be creative and imaginative. Even though the books came out very nice, there still were some difficulties. The most challegeing part was making the poem and trying to get all of the elements & principles in the book. Most of them came naturally. If I was to make another book, I would make the emphasis really pop out. Also, I would use more brighter colors. Other than that I feel that my book was well done.

This handmade book is made by a Chinese person. In my opinion, Chinese people are very sophisticated. I chose this book because it is very unique and so different from what we are doing. More challeging. In this book, from what i can see, it looks as if this person likes polka dots and lines. Also, I chose this handmade book because look at the top, it's eye catching. On this book, it has numerous famous pictures from back in the day it look like. This person did well with their book and was being creative. Just like how we are in Art class

In this drawing, i see color, shape, unity, and line. It's obvious that color is used in this drawing. There are a various amount colors used in the drawing. If you look closely, you will see that there are circles and some triangles made up from the different lines that intersect. That brings me to the unity and line. Unity because the lines are intersecting, forming other shape which is creating other shapes. Bringing them together.

In this painting, the elements of art that is used are color, shape, and I think value. I say color is used because obviously as you can see there are multiple colors in the picture. Shape is used because when you take a look at the painting, the colors are making circles into one small dot. Lastly, I see a little bit of value in the painting. For instance, you see the red shading into orange which is shading into yellow. Also, you see blue shading into green which is fading into yellow as well. Blue also shade into purple if you look towards the middle. These are the elements of art that are being used.

The name of this piece of art is called The Starry Night. The Starry Night was created by an artist named Vincent Van Gogh. This painting one of is his most famous paintings, and demonstrates his transition from impressionism to expressionism. At the time that Van Gogh painted this night scene, he was institutionalized in France. Some believe that the raging stars unfurling against the night sky parallels the artist's slipping sanity. This painting reminds me of Georges Seurat. Reason being is because in this painting it looks as if it was painted using dots like Seurat did. In my paradigm, this is a creative, nice piece of artwork.

-Why do you think he created this painting?
-Do this artwork look like it is created using dots, or any other technique?
